So for my whole life since i was able to understand i knew i was adopted. My adoption is a closed adoption meaning that i dont rly have alot of information on my birth parents. My parents now have always told me that they only knew her first name, how old she was when she had me, and what ethnicity she is. The other day when i was talking to my mom about the idea of finding her i also found out that she has known so much more about her including her last name. I know i shouldnt be mad at my mom for not telling me because she was doing it to protect me and waiting to tell me at the right time but now i feel like everything i was told was a lie. She thinks that my lifes gonna change and i know she doesnt want me to find her but my life feels so empty and im tired of wondering who i actually look like or where i would have come from. I know its not much to complain about because im with a good family but so many people take there families for granted and dont see how much i would KILL to for once say i look like my mom or someone else in my family but not have to say rly… cause im adopted. People dont realize which isnt their fault and i make it seem like it doesnt bother me but honestly it rly does… i hold back from crying cause truth be told ive wanted to find my birth mom for awhile now i just havent brought it up till now because im afraid of hurting my parents or even her not wanting to meet me.
